Accessibility

Florida Pet Farewells is committed to making this directory usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site was last reviewed on October 21, 2026, using automated testing (axe) and manual checks of keyboard use, focus visibility, color contrast, text alternatives, page structure and reflow on small screens.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to directory" link.
• Text and form controls meet WCAG contrast requirements.
• Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Search results are announced to screen readers as filters change.
• Pages adapt to small screens and to text zoom of up to 400% without sideways scrolling.

Known limitations

Links to provider websites lead to sites we do not control, which may not meet the same standard.
